SHORT COURSES 2011-12

In our 2010-2011 programme ULEMHAS ran three Short Art History Courses as an experiment to gauge membership interest in such an activity. They were very well supported and the ULEMHAS Committee has now arranged four Short Courses for our 2011-2012 programme.

They will be held at a new venue for ULEMHAS:

The Friendship Centre, Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, 235 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8EP

For a map and directions click here.

The Friendship Centre is a large, flexible space with a lift, disabled access and refreshment facilities.

The courses, each of five lectures of two hours held at weekly intervals, are to be provided subject to sufficient applications being received.

For each course: click the Short course programme icon for the programme

The charge for each course will be £85 and, following the practice of academic institutions and societies, full payment must be made upon application.

Each course is separate and if members wish to attend more than one course they should complete separate application forms and provide separate cheques. Cheques should be made payable to ULEMHAS.

If the course is oversubscribed, cheques will be returned.

Given the high level of interest it will not be possible to apply to attend only part of a course.

If a course has to be cancelled for unforeseen reasons, the full payment will be returned.

If an applicant cancels, the charge may be refunded at ULEMHAS's discretion, subject to an administration fee of £3.

For insurance reasons courses are only open to members of ULEMHAS. If you are not a member then you can apply including the completed membership form and subscription.
